Every spec is scored as a market percentile — a 75 means the car beats ~75% of the cars in our database
on that measure. Space and price are compared within the car's
body-type segment, so a hatchback competes with hatchbacks.
Each pillar blends several specs: Performance (power,
torque, 0–100, power-to-weight), Safety (NCAP, airbags,
de-duplicated driver-assist coverage), Features
(equipment coverage and cabin tech), Space (trunk,
seating, rear room, wheelbase), Running Cost
(fuel/energy use, registration & insurance) and
Value (price vs segment, warranty, service network).
Missing data is never penalized — unknown specs are excluded and the rest reweighted. Pillars
with no data show "—" and are skipped in the final score.
The % badge on each card shows how complete our data is for
that car.
